You know what's weird?
My sister (fourth grade) has started to like the computer a whole lot more than she ever has. And she uses Yahoo IM now. To talk with her "friends".
(But that's a WHOOOLE other story. ;D)
She's at the stage where she does nothing productive online. Not that I can say the same for myself, but at least I'm improving my mind and telling others where I stand.
She's at that stage where she just goes to random game/kid sites and wastes her time. Which annoys me to no end, even though I've been there before. XD
Her number one site:
www.dressupgames.com
And yes, I just shivered as I wrote that.
So now whenever she's online with a friend, she chats with them on Yahoo. I of course, have her in my contacts, and she seems to pop up at the weirdest times. Either in the morning, or night. This would be a perfect way to monitor if she's REALLY staying off the computer when she's grounded, or if she's REALLY doing those chores she needed to. ;D
I'm glad to say that I taught her her first emoticon though. "o.0" Seems to be the one. And she uses that one most often with me, for some odd reason. 8P
It's interesting to see how our relationship differs when she steps into a computer, though. She could be going through a rough day with me, saying I'm stupid and hitting me. But once she can't see me, the fighting is out. She just talks to me like anyone else would.
I've always been the biggest computer geek in the house, and now she's learning pretty fast how to catch up to me. Now I can't joke about WHATTHEBUCK, or 5awesomegays from youtube without her knowing exactly what I mean and who I'm talking about.
All of these facts are very scary. And my life is going to take some major adjusting to get used to TWO geeks in the house. But honey, I'll always be smarter than you. By four years. So get used to it. ;D

Jacklyn has become the ultimate baby geek. o___0
