New Sushi Place

Got out of the shower before nine o'clock. First time I've done that this week.

I love this new sushi place.

It's really cheap, considering that we're in the Midwest and lack oceans and fish. o_0

It's about $10.00 for 8 huge and fressshh yummyness rolls. 83

Me and Jacklyn shared about three plates with my dad.

Computer roll, spider roll, and this egg roll thing.

We wanted eel roll, but I think we checked off the wrong thing on the menu.

It was kind of weird, because you check off what you want and how many, and the server dude takes it to the bar.

I think our server leaned a bit more towards hot pockets than pikachus if you know what I'm sayin. ;DD

The computer roll had three types of fish, and two types of fish eggs. Where it got the name from, I have no idea.

The spider roll had tempura crab legs sticking out of all three, thus giving it the look of a "spider".

And we wanted EEL roll, but I think they thought we checked EGG roll. It was a sushi roll with crab, egg, and it had this pink sugary stuff in it that tasted a bit like cotton candy. That got a bit too sweet after a while. :/

Here's the plate with the computer/spider:

The presentation was really good, (See the spider legs? XD) and there was only like five other people there. The Italian place that used to be there went out of business, so I sure hope this one doesn't. I love it. *_*

Here it is after devouring:

It was really good, and Jacklyn helped me study from my sticky notes for my three tests coming up tomorrow. I don't know why, but I'm so addicted to sticky notes as a study tool now. They only can hold the basics of what you need, and you can take them everywhere.

During study hall I make my vocab flash cards for comm. arts, and what I do is this. I write the word on the front, draw an associated picture of a cupcake doing something that makes me remember it, and the definition on the back. I memorized them so well while making them all funny, and I memorize them well from reading them over and over.

This is the best study tool I've found this year. XD

I've also learned that I can recite definitions, what regions the colonies were in, and much more if I have rhythm. I either stomp while walking, clap, or tap something. I turn it into a song. o_0

That has helped me remember things too. Vocab just got way easier. XDDD

Anyways, it's already nine, and I'm going to bed so EARLY tonight, I can't WAIT to get to sleep. ;D

I'm not counting my sushi cell phone pics as my daily ones. ;D

I would give anything to have that for lunch every day. *_*

And in case anyone was wondering who Rosie the photograph girl was in my last post, click on the FIRST picture I posted. It'll go right to her. ;D
