Mata Hari

Tonight was REALLY fun.

That was the first fully black-and-white movie I have really ever seen.

It was Mata Hari, which was about the legendary WWI spy that happened to be a woman with many erm, male followers. (Played by Greta Garbo, fashion/beauty icon.)

It was mostly old people, and really quiet. The movie was really good, and a professor from KU gave an intro and an outro speech.

It was WAYYY interesting. I loved it. He talk about Mata Hari herself, the actress Greta Garbo, and the cinematographer that made Greta Garbo all that she was.

I honestly had no idea how celebrity status worked in the 20-30s. And how rich they really were. XD

I don't think Remi would've enjoyed it much. And she would've busted out laughing when an old lady farted really loud in front of us. She couldn't help it. Her colon is ancient. ;D

Greta Garbo's eyebrows were BEYOND thin. XD

And that's actually a picture from the movie. ;D

I didn't get a chance to do the funny picture. Maybe tomorrow.

And while we were downtown, there was so much that I was wanting to take pictures of. It's so beautiful. 8DD

Ah, well. Hopefully tomorrow, along with the chocolate festival. ;DDD

She has so much blingage. XD

The REAL Mata Hari:

Click either one. It will take you to a wikipedia page, which will show you who the heck she is.

And yes, her eyebrows do NOT appear to be that thin. But she was obviously well-groomed. ;D
