Ravelry is a beta social network. For knitters. And I know I've been raving about this new hobby lately, but it's freaking awesome. And old ladies have finally figured out the internet. There are free patterns, forums, and just neat stuff. It says you need an invite since it's beta, but it'll send you one within two days. They're not that selective. ;D

With all of these hardcore NHD and science project nights, I've really been missing out on my reading. What I DO read daily is blogs. And what better way to read a classic novel than through my RSS feed? I'm currently reading Pride and Prejudice, Middlemarch, and Incidents in the Life of A Slave Girl. It just sends me half a chapter daily into my blog feed, where I'll be sure to read it. ;D And you can get them by email also. But who uses THAT anymore? XD

Remember BookMooch? Yeah, I did awhile back too. I completely forgot about it, and have an inbox full of complaints with people like, "WHERE ARE MY BOOKS," and such. I found swaptree, which I like much better. You can swap a book for another book, CD, movie, or game. Which makes it funner. And it automatically pairs you with another person, which I like too. A point system like BookMooch is SO 2008. Believe me. The layout is cooler too. But I'm going to catch back up on BookMooch saying I had a "family emergency". Works every time.
