34 Hours.

1 and 2/5 Days.

34 Hours.

2040 Minutes.

122400 Seconds.

____

That is how long I will be in the car this next week, driving to Washington
D.C. (Yes, this includes the trip back. But this is the time ONLY in the car.) I'm not sure if I'm prepared yet. I'm not sure if one CAN be prepared for something like that.

I stocked up on smoosh power at Hobby Lobby:

I don't know why, but Vanna White makes me want to PEE myself. She is a horror movie gone wrong. (If you don't know who she is- She's the lady on the wheel of fortune who pointed to the letters. And she made knitting cool again, while being Lion Brand Yarn's spokesperson.)

And she's ULTRA creepy.

The first four green ones are for a matching mittens/scarf set which will look like this:

But I'm overly excited for the mittens. Aren't they SO CUTE? :D And the scarf has a cute keyhole thing in it, so it'll stick when you overlap it. If that makes sense. Just look at the picture.

And the sock yarn is for socks. WOAH REALLY? NUUU WAY.

And I will ATTEMPT socks. I'm not making any guaruntees at this point. Man.

But I WILL try hard. Probably on the ride back, since I won't be able to contain my excitement for the mittens on the way there.

And don't ask me why I'm knitting mittens in the summer. I'm not going to WEAR them right now. Geez. XDDD

But my mom has gotten majorly into my new hobby. She got major jealous at Remi's hat, and said I did such a good job she was going to cry.

Which, made the room akward. As you can imagine.

She's pretty much put into commision every single garment imaginable. Including a carbon copy of Remi's hat.

I'm generally a selfish knitter, but I'm going to be churning out a bunch of stuff for next Christmas. Because giving is always nice. Especially when the items are cute. :D

But, yeah. Those mittens are MINE. And only MINE.

Take my XO scarf, take my golfer hats, take my YARN even, but you will not take my mittens.

Once they come into existence, anyways. :D

But I have to go to bed now, since I have a lot to pack tomorrow.

Did I mention my power chord came? I don't believe I did.

Amazon CLEARLY said that my package was still in New Jersey, but it arrived today and made me pee myself with joy.

So I like Amazon again.

And I like my soft, bed. Full of my soft, smooshy yarns. Which I will caress until morning.

Goodnight. ;D
